| The Southend and District
Junior Netball League was formed in 1991. There were 27 teams entered
for the first season. There were two age groups Years 7 & 8 and
Years 9 – 11.
Numbers dwindled and in 1996 there were only 15 teams. However in 1997 with the introduction of a Years 5 & 6 section numbers have swollen to 29 teams our maximum being 30. Fixtures are held on the first Sunday of the month. Commencing in November then December, February and March with an end of season rally being held either at the end of March or the beginning of April. The closing date for entry to the league is 22nd September. For an application form please contact Elaine Horner.
